Joshua 1:8 says, “Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.”
People are always looking for the key to success. There are a variety of things that people credit success to. These include hard work, discipline, tenacity, education, knowing the right people or talent. While all of these things play a role in becoming successful, without the wisdom from God’s word, success will be limited. For example, many people have become rich and famous only to suffer from broken relationships or anxiety. Still others squander their wealth or fall into substance abuse or other vices.
No level of success will be complete without God’s word. If you want to be whole: body, mind and soul, and be successful in your life (whatever that looks like for you) it all begins with learning, studying, and living out God’s word. The more time you spend getting to know God and His ways, the more successful you will become in your life, without the sorrows of the world attached to it.
True prosperity includes your soul, and there is no better way to prosper your soul than to fill it with the word of God.
