Change Your Mind

Romans 12:2 NLT says, "Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect."

True transformation starts from the inside out. As Christians, we have to have a lifestyle that stands out in the world. We can't follow trends or compromise God's holy standards. Most of us came to Christ because we knew that we needed to change, and that change began in our minds and hearts.

The process doesn't end at conversion! We have to learn how to think differently...according to God's will and ways. This is a learning process, and it takes time. The more we learn of God's word, inscribe it onto our hearts, and let it change our thinking, the more we will change into His likeness: holy, good, pleasing to God. Real change can only come from knowing Him and thinking like Him.
